Following the Paper Trail to Fun, Friendship and Creativity
Lol Laura, I could use a T-shirt like that too. I'd wear it everyday to remind my grumpy husband to be patient with me...I have some crafting to do besides taking care of his and everybody elses needs... HELLO!!!
ReplyDeleteThere is no rush for this ........ take time out for U and the family

I'd help you if I knew how! Sigh...
ReplyDeleteI understand you thanking all of us but I would like to thank you. What you give to us is so much more than I think you even realize. We all deal with our life bumps and for me crafting gives me a break from all of it. You provide me with a mental outlet, helps me keep my sanity. When you have to cancel a class it is a selfish letdown LOL Kind of like your best friend calling and canceling a lunch date. So thank you Laura for keeping me from going over the edge.Keep you and yours in my prayers.

You must know how much we all appreciate what you do...and under the stress you have experienced lately. You never have to apologize for when things don't go as you had expected...and if anyone of your followers can't understand and accept that...YOU DON'T NEED 'EM!! I sure understand about the tag swap being tooooo much on top of everything else, but i for one want to thank you for the opportunity...i never would have tried it with any other group, and I'm glad I was in the one and only Laura Swap!!!! Thanks for all you do. (texfolkart)
ReplyDeleteI would NEVER have tried a swap with ANY other group! And I'm glad I did my first swap with you. Just a thought~you're like the Queen of England: YOUR life bumps are done in front of all of us. SHE doesn't apologize~YOU don't need to. When you give Your "Christmas Address", you can allude to your "Annus Horribilius"! On a happier note: I love, Love, LOVE the Asian Mini! It has jumped to the top of my projects list! DoriG
ReplyDeleteadd me to the group who wants to thank you for letting me be in my first and only swap! I'll wait forever if it takes that long to receive! Just happy to have been part of it! The garden gate is SO neat..can't wait to see it in action!
ReplyDeleteHi Laura,
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful for you and all that you do to share your talents with us.
It doesn't matter how long it take for the tags to get to us. They are just paper and you are like family to us. We care that you are going through so much. We pray for you and your family. Anyone who watches your class knows that you are caring and as it should be,
your family comes first. Please don't ever feel sorry for that. We are always mom's first and then everything comes after that.
God bless, Hugs and love to you

I never would have had enough courage to enter a tag swap. Laura, you kept telling us, "You ARE good enough!" The number of people who responded with the massive amount of tags is but a small indicator of the number of creative lives you've touched. Doesn't matter if it takes to the moon and back to get our tags; the magic was in empowering us to feel good about what we can do. You will forever be one of my most memorable teachers. You are in awesome company, as you should be. Love and hugs.
ReplyDeleteWell, Laura, I just have to agree with the rest of these fans!! I can't conceive of a person who might grumble that the tags are not out yet!!! What does it matter??? It is for fun and nobody's life depended upon it!! It is hardly a disaster that we have to wait... what a shame that a few have spoiled what was supposed to be enjoyable!! And the VAST number of tags is simply a testiment to your popularity... keep on keeping on

My month of May was a little crazy also! Waiting for the tags is not a problem. I'm so excited that I pressed myself to make the tags. I loved doing them and want to make more. I made 150 tags for my daughter's wedding invitations and put the invitation part on the back. I loved making them! I never would have thought of it or attempted it were it not for the swap you hosted. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.......
