Schedule Adjustment

Needed to adjust the schedule this weekend, check it out on the side bar schedule. Due to a combo of factors.....planets aligning differently than expected so to speak.....on Friday night I will do a paper applique demo. (Some of you saw the example that you can't say you saw....shhhhh!) We have a project using this technique in late October that will include kits and patterns but this will give you a demo of how I created it.

On Saturday, we will do a Livestream test run to see if it is a viable option for the regular classes. I will post further info on how to get there, sign in etc. on the blog tomorrow. It also looks like I will be able to upload my archived Ustream videos onto my New Livestream account. Yowza! How cool is that! Did a test load earlier today and it worked. It is faster and easier to load too! Vimeo is taking about 6 hours per video to upload right now, so this may be the perfect solution.

This adjustment will also give me a bit of breathing room to get the Garden Gate 2 pattern edited and up without rushing. It WILL be available on Saturday. The class will start on my regular class on Wednesday.

Can I just say that all of you are the best. Your support and kind worlds truly warm my heart to bursting!

Laura

  4. Yay Livestream! Keeping my fingers crossed that it works out for you. As far as the delay in class goes, who doesn't have a kit or 2...or 6, laying around waiting to be created? No worries.

  5. Laura, I am so glad you are going to try this and see if it's a good fit for you (and us). Just one of many, many things that you do behind the scenes to make things go smoothly for all of us. Can't wait to see your demo on what we saw that we can't talk about just yet. LOL

  6. Thank you Laura, and I am looking forward to trying Livestream. I was going to do my mini rolling suitcase album this weekend, but became stuck. So I will patiently wait for the archived videos to be uploaded. Thank you for all that you do for us!! We are very, very appreciative!

  7. Totally understand the planets aligning differently from planned! My daughter is totally buried with work, new baby, hormones, grad school, and her own expectations and I can't do anything to help her. Planets! Grrr!
I LOVE your classes and I will follow you to wherever. Have a positive energy day!

  8. Great news Laura !!!! Hope it all works. It will be nice to be able to get to view the older videos that Ustream has removed. Arggggg. I know how fustrated you must be, and we are all trying to be patient and know you are doing everything possible to get them up and running. With Christmas right around the corner, their are several projects that I am trying to complete as gifts, but need to refer to the videos for a refresher so your timing is wonderful. Thanks, and we are all curious about the Livestream and will see you there for the test spin. Just remember we are all in this together and support any decisions you make cause we all know that you have our best interest at heart. Also, remember life happens, and we just have to work around it, so never feel you need to apologize for it. Hugs,
    Marcie
