A new mini....

This Friday and Saturday I will be doing a Ustream show on how to make the mini that is featured today on the Graphic 45 blog. Check out the schedule on the blog sidebar for times.

This is a fun, fast, and easy mini to make. Though I will be giving out all the dimensions on the show, I will also have a pattern/tutorial available on my website by Thursday. I will be making the larger size on the show but the pattern will include both the larger and smaller versions.

To work along with me you will need the following supplies:

- (16-18) 12" x 12" patterned papers. At least 6 MUST be double sided and non-directional
- (8) 12" x 12" coordinating colored card stock
- 3 yds rayon ribbon or patterned ribbon
- 1 yd coordinating ribon for optional closure
- Brad and garment pin or loop for optional closure
- Flowers and embellishments for covers, pages and tags
- Glue, adhesives, optional punches or edgers

Also, tomorrow will be the re-scheduled Part 4 of the Vintage Suitcase mini album at 1pm Pacific time.

Have an awesome week!!

Laura

  1. I just saw your mini on Graphic 45 and love it! The Domestic Goddess Collection is one of my favorites and it looks great in this mini. I'm still trying to catch up on all my mini albums, but I'll just have to make this one, also! "See you" later this week!

  12. Have made several of your minis from a standing start over the last few weeks. Your patterns are truely easy to follow. I can spin yarn, knit etc but had never tried a paper craft before and found you when looking for something interesting to do with a 4" stack of random aged 12 x 12 which a close friend had given up on and cleared out!! Sadly she had loved the papers too much to MAKE anything and literally collected beyond sense! Then she apparently felt sick when she looked at them,so I had a giant stash and luckily you have offered LOADS of creative ideas and you paperholics out there take heed and USE that lovely paper!!!!!

  14. Love your work. I looked at your store for the pattern but I couldn't find it. What is the name of this pattern? I am anxious to try it with some Domestic Goddess papers I've been saving for a recipe album. Your album is the perfect inspiration for my recipe album. Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing with us.

I HOPE to be able to watch live, but so appreciate that you record your classes so that we can watch later, if necessary. As always, YOU ROCK!
