UNCLE!!

Okay, I have tried, but I need to move the Bats in the Belfry class to Friday/Saturday in order to deliver the quality of pattern that I am comfortable sending. Many of you have told me to not worry about it...but I do! I need some time to focus so that I can send out a correct and complete pattern....I am having a hard time doing that from here at the hospital. It looks like Sarah will be have a some tests tomorrow with the possibility of going home on Tuesday-ish. I feel comfortable having the pattern available for emailing by Wednesday. I am posting the supply list here so that you can gather supplies together. Those who ordered the kit will get the pattern before I post it on Etsy. Since this class is falling closer to to Halloween than I originally planned, those of you who ordered the kit may return it for a refund if you choose...just contact me via email.

  1. Sweet Laura! You are so precious!!! But you HONESTLY need to stop worrying!!! We all have times when family needs far outweigh our crafty desires!!! I think I speak for everyone when I tell you that we totally understand and just want you to focus on taking care of Sarah and yourself for now!!! As crafters, I think we are a fairly flexible group. So, take a deep breath, hug sweet little Sarah, and give yourself as much time as you need!!!! Having a sick child is overwhelming enough without worries of work!!! Ok, getting off my soapbox now!!! Love and hugs to you all!!!

  2. Laura, LilGreenBug is right on the money! I know that you worry and want to make everyone happy, but that's a real good way to make yourself seriously sick! Life is always full of things that we must deal with...you have a very caring and thoughtful group of followers and if there's anyone out there that's going to get mad at you or something completely out of your control, then you really don't need them in your life!!! Your kids are first and foremost and we all take a back seat to that. I love and appreciate the person you are, but PLEASE stop worrying...we'll get through this together! Hugs and Prayers, Dena (beezebeescrappers)

  6. As a mother of two young men, I still put them before everything else if they have need for me. This is not very often as they don't even live in the same province as me any more. Being a parent is always first priority and you are respected not only for your talent but your love of family. I look forward to "Bats in the Belfry" whenever you are able to do it. I won't even get any halloween pictures until Christmas. LOL!

  9. Laura, I understand how you feel, you want to put out the best and you do. Just because it wont be done before halloween doesn't matter. Think of it this way, we make these creations to hold pictures, well I'm not going to have pictures til after halloween so my "bats" wont be done til then. I'll show it with pride for years to come. I strongly agree with the ladies above my post. We all are caring Moms and understand what your going through. Sending hugs your way!

  10. Luara do what you have to do and quit worrying about everyone else. Take care of that angle first . Because they are lent to us for a short while and we have to enjoy them while they are with us. She will fly the coop soon. And this moments are the ones she will remember for the rest of her life. Family always comes first. We are all mothers here and we understand what you going through. ( hugs and lots of love) for your entire family.

  11. Laura, the only people who would be concerned about when they get something from you these days are people who don't know that your sweet little peanut is in the hospital and that you have very important things on your mind right now. I personally wish you would stop worrying so much about people here. When you have other things on your mind, you stress out and have less to devote to the more important stuff. Relax until Sarah is home and feeling better.

I can see from the comments here today and earlier that your followers and customers feel the same way.

If you wear yourself too thin, you may end up in the hospital yourself and then where would everybody be without you!!!!

    Hugs, Karin

  12. I couldn't say it any better than the ladies who posted ahead of me. Family first ALWAYS. Stop stressing or it will be you laying in that hospital bed.

That being said, I just finished my birdhouse last night and I am truly amazed that someone's mind thought up that intricate way of binding it all together to give more room for tags. Give that brain a rest dear girl. There are many more mini's to be thought up. LOL

Here's hoping and praying that Sarah is well enough to come home on Tuesday. You probably both need to feel the warmth and comfort of your own beds.

We all rooting for you and lil Sarah and your family is very much in the prayers and thoughts of many of us. You are way more than just a crafter / teacher, you are friendly and warm and you just know how to reach out to all of us through your videos. 18. Laura,
I have been watching your videos and u stream for a couple of weeks now. I have been on the fence about ordering your patterns. Seeing how you put your family before anything has gotten me off the fence. I will be ordering from you. I sincerly hope Sarah gets to feeling better real soon. Please know that you have many cyber friends other than your long time followers that admire your talent and the way you prioritize the important things in your life. Prayers and best wishes to you and your whole family.
