Welcome to Day 4 of the Graphic 45/ May Arts Blog Hop!
Thank you for dropping in!
Graphic 45 and May Arts have teamed up to bring you wonderfully inspirational projects and some great prizes too! Scroll down to the end of this post to see the awesome goodies you can win!
I love May Arts ribbons....awesome quality and great colors....combine them with the BEST paper out there...Graphic 45, of course.....and you are half way there to a successful project! For this project, I combined a selection of products from the drug store to alter with the brand NEW A Ladies Diary collection to create a lovely Boudoir Tray.
This grouping included an inexpensive ornate frame,
a hand mirror, a bar of special soap, and bath products in old fashioned style bottles.
Here is the finished, altered group:
First, add patterned paper behind the glass of the frame. Paint wooden beads and attach to the bottom corners to act as feet. Add lacy ribbon along the perimeter:
Remove the existing labels from the bottles. Trace the perimeter of the tag shaped packaging from any Graphic 45 Staples item on patterned paper to create a new label. Apply the new label and add a punched paper strip, ribbon, G45 A Ladies Diary Stickers and A Ladies Diary Alphabet Stickers. A bow of wide ribbon attaches a G45 A Ladies Diary Chipboard Tags #1 to the neck of the bottles. Create a fun bottle topper from G45 Metal Flowers and G45 Metal Button Brads. Add a punched paper band, ribbon and a G45 A Ladies Diary Chipboard Tags #1 to the bar of soap.
Paint the hand mirror with a coat of acrylic medium and then a coat of metallic acrylic paint.
Attach an accordion fold album insert from the G45 Film Canister Tin. Embellish the cover with G45 Staples, flowers and bling.
Embellish the pages of the album with patterned paper, stickers and ribbon.
Create tags from G45 Staples packaging.
Materials Used:
Paper: G45 A Ladies Diary collection in 8 x 8 and 12 x 12, G45 A Ladies Diary Stickers,
G45 A Ladies Diary Alphabet Stickers, G45 A Ladies Diary Chipboard Tags #1,
G45 Staples: Metal Hinges, Metal Flowers, Button Brads
Ribbon: May Arts
Flowers: Prima Marketing
Bling: Want To Scrap
Baubles: Idea-ology
