The kids talked me into getting some cute and tiny mice...why not we have the cage, and we already have the hamsters and guinea pigs...what's a couple more rodents, I thought. Well.....
When we got to the pet store, they were having a kitten adoption event. Uh oh. Typically, we look at the kittties and I say no. Something about these two little fur balls spoke to me. So, we came home with not only Salt, Pepper, and Aphrodite (a white, a brown and a black mouse) but these two cuties!
Meet Patches...
...and Isis!
They are sweet little 11 week old sisters from a litter of 5 girls. The other 3 have also been adopted. Everyone is excited to have the new additions...well, we are sure that Sneezer will come to love his new baby sisters as long as we keep letting him know he will always be the number one cat in our hearts and home! Toby is thinking we need another dog as he is feeling out-numbered!
My voice is better today as the antibiotics continue to do their job!

Ha ha ha ha ha Oh dear, haven´t I been there many times, when I had 4 kids at home ha ha ha, nd even the dog I have now, is one my son made me have, becuase he dragged me to see some puppies, that was sooo poot, because they wasn´t taking decent care of and he knew my heart couldn´t bare to see that. But at least we only have him now a days, but we have definately had our circcus here over the years with all kinds of animals ha ha ha, especially those poor abandend ones always seems to find a home here LOL. What we have had from hamsters, mice cats and even a hedgehog living inside here.

ReplyDeleteSooooo adorable! I could not have left without them either! Please get them fixed when it is time. Congrats on your growing family!!

ReplyDeleteI fostered Airedales for Airedale Terrier Rescue & Adoption. I got a beautiful senior dale that I just couldn't let go of. How her family could give her up at her old age just broke my heart. Emma's only issue is she went potty when she slept. A $15 prescription from the vet took care of that. I only had her 4 short years before she had to be put down. 14 years is old for an airedale. I now only have 1 airedale now. Thank you for rescuing your kittens. It is just so rewarding and they are so lovable.
ReplyDeleteMy CallieCat had her kittens on May 10th (my wedding anniversary!)... so we have four new furry addition to the family. However, mine aren't staying - they have got to go because I'm sure the dog is very put out by the mewling she hears all day *lol*
ReplyDeletePatches and Isis are gorgeous... welcome home to your new furbabies!
Beautiful kittens, Patches reminds me of my late cat Freya along with her sister Tessie who I was lucky enough to have with me for 22 years, I`m sure they`ll make a wonderful addition to your family x
ReplyDeleteCute kitties!!! My one and only cat I've ever owned was named Patches! She was an awesome kitty!! Loved her! Your new additions are precious!!! Enjoy!! So glad to read that you are feeling better, too!!! Hugs!
