...and for 2010 to be over!! My 89 year old mother-in -law fell today and broke her ankle in two places. She will have surgery on Wednesday and be home again on Thursday!! She is a tough cookie and seems well below her age, (my in-laws still go dancing every Friday night!) so I am hoping that her recovery goes smoothly. Aaaauuugghh! What next!?!
I will post my 11th and 12th Days of Christmas Projects tomorrow and Thursday as a result. They are almost ready and I really want you all to see them!!

ReplyDeleteOh Laura, I am so sorry to hear about you MIL. You sure have had some rough times lately. I hear ya about being ready for the year to be over. I have missed your past four classes...life keeps getting in the way. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers. I am assuming no class this Friday..but am wondering if you are still planning your New Years Eve bash with Carol and Barrie.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Stephanie
I Laura I just found your videos on youtube and I am so enjoying all of your creativeness. I hope that your Mother-in-law is doing well. My MIL who is 87 fell last Thursday, but we are fortunate enough that she did not brake anything but is very bruised all over. My prayers will be with you and your family. That is so not easy when that happens. Hugs, Lisa G

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in Sept 2005. In Nov our house was mutilated by a tornado. I asked What next? In Mar my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4B colon, liver, and ovarian cancer. In Sept 2006, on the 1 year anniversary of my diagnosis, my husband was electrocuted with 7600 volts. Thank God he survived with only 3rd degree burns and some lung damage resulting in chronic bronchitis. Our home had hurricane damage (damaging everything that wasn't damaged by the tornado) in Nov. My father-in-law was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma of the lung and then my mom-in-law passed that next spring very unexpectedly. All in the span of 21 months!
ReplyDeleteI offer the evidence that when one asks "What next?", one will get an answer!
My spirits are very high still though! Other than my mother-in-law, everyone is still with us! PTL!
I pray 2011 will be a much healthier year for your entire family!
