What's Up Wednesday!...okay so what if it's Thursday....
The kids and I had a blast at the Seattle Aquarium and the downtown Seattle waterfront yesterday.
I got working on a few necessities like LAUNDRY after we got home. In other words I took a "MOM" day! Sooooo..... WUW is a day late but hopefully not a dollar short! This is a fun page style for a mini that I designed a few weeks ago and hadn't decided what to do with it.
I am going to throw in a BONUS Ustream class on this Faux Paper Bag Mini on Saturday morning at 9:30 Pacific Time (an extra half hour for those Hawaiians and Alaskans to sleep!) to show you how to make these pages into an album. I will also put together written instructions for those who want them on my Etsy before Saturday....hopefully!
Friday's Ustream class on the Sunburst Album is at 7pm Pacific Time. The pattern is up on Etsy (CLICK HERE to go to my Etsy shop) and will ship out via email to those who order it later day.

Have a great rest of your week and I'll "see" you tomorrow night!

You are a gem Laura
ReplyDeleteIt is so great to have a paper bag pattern now, although I did buy quite a stack of them while in MI
I tried to find Tim Holtz Grunge paper but with no luck.
Can't have everything I guess!!!
Laura,
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you, thank you. I have done one paperbag album. I loved decorating it but hated covering the bags. Adhesives and I go round and round with the adhesives sometimes winning. Now I can use your technique and skip the bags. It only requires a small amount of adhesive at a time. yay! Can't wait to try one. I'll try to catch your U-Stream class on Saturday for more details.

Hello Laura,
ReplyDeletethanks a lot for sharing this paperbag book !!!
It's finally vacation and this is definitely something I'm going to try with my own papers. I don't have the Tim papers ( must say they look great on your book), but I luckily have the Tim dies !
thanks

I am a little confused...I understand how you feel about copyright protection and totally get that you want to protect your creations. As well you should. You are a very talented person but there have been several people who are really strict about their patterns and instructions and several times I have found video tutorials on their projects...from someone else posted months and sometimes even years before the newer video. My case in point is this mini album construction...which I absolutely love...was posted by tanducit03 her YT channel and video is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-XQSbwopzA&feature=related
