It's What's Up Wednesday!
Today I am showing you how to make a Multi Pocket Envelope Mini!
You will need standard #10 envelopes....2 1/2 per page.
Trim the first 2 envelopes to 9" long. Cut the 3rd envelope in half (Don't trim off the ends!)
Score and fold one envelope at 3 1/2" from one cut edge. Score and fold the other at 1 1/2" from a cut edge.
Glue folded up pocket with your favorite adhesive.
Attach folded envelope units back to back with half envelope sandwiched between.
Cut patterned papers in sizes shown.
Add tags to the pockets up to 4" wide.
Here's a slide show of the finished album:

ReplyDeleteCongrats to Joy, yes, I'm jealous...LOL I need to find some glimmer mist to try! OK..here's a question, what would be the best color to start out with, just to give a pretty neutral shimmer?
Thanks in advance!
Take care,
Lisa Sturgill
OH, and my post sounds a bit like sour grapes, JOY, enjoy your goodies!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLisa Sturgill :)
The color in the giveaway is called "Old Lace" nice, neutral shimmer. Another favorite is "Wheatfield". "Pearl" has no color really, just shimmer. They are addictive though...kinda the Lays potato chips of scrappin'...no one can have just one!!
ReplyDeletevery professional as always. It's easy for me to follow your instructions. Thanks!
ReplyDeletefantastic tutorial..but i am so frustrated uk envolopes are DL size 4 1/3" x 8 2/3" i tried to re adjust the measurements by cutting it down to 8 inches ect but it just all went wrong..still i enjoyed watching your tutorial and seeing your fabulous mini..TFS

Hi Laura,
ReplyDeleteI'm snowed in this weekend and would love to make a mini purse album like the one you made. Do youhave templates for the sunglasses or cell phone pockets that you created? Would love to include those in my album.

I am putting together instructions/templates for the purse mini (sim to my butterfly) as well as some kits. They should all be available next week sometime.
