The Vintage Suitcase pattern is up on my website. I have also added kits to the website. (The kits won't be shipping until July 12th unless all of the products arrive before I leave for Florida) The class will be the next two weekends on Ustream.
I know many of you have had difficulties viewing Ustream from Friday. Let me assure you, if I could do something to "fix" it I would. I have nothing to do with the recording beyond hitting the "record" button. I have no other control over them. I received some rather nasty emails demanding that I do something....I wish I could!! Feel free to contact ustream with your anger. Some have suggested that I move the videos over to Youtube....that won't work as they far exceed the time limit set by Youtube.

Laura, I am so sorry that people feel like they need to take their frustrations with Ustream out on you. You are truly one of a kind, I would have told them off along time ago. You rock lady and I love all your videos!!! You have the best time when you go to Florida with your family.

Laura, I agree with what Barbara has posted previously. Those of us who are faithful followers know that you have no control over Ustream. I can't chat because it either freezes me up or kicks me off. So, I watch what I can live and then I go back and watch the recorded version later on. I love your videos and hope you never stop.

Incredible! Some people seem to be very ungrateful. There are getting your tutorials and workshop totally for free and still they moan. And what if the quality of Ustream is miserable? You can watch it at a later date,no? I do - as I live in France. You rock Laura! Thanks for your time and inspiration.

Hope for the suitcase it will work but if it doesn’t there’s always the instructions. Won’t have your charming way of teaching us but we are already so lucky to have you show all these wonderful projects.

Hi Laura, I was one who asked you to help 'fix' it if you could but I would never ever 'expect' you to fix it! Please don't take any nasty emails to heart I reckon there are more of us who 'love and appreciate' what you do than the nasties out there, but thats the risk with the internet, there's some crazy people out there unfortunately. I did finally get it to work but not on Mozilla, I got it on explorer eventually (I rarely use Explorer but there you go), didn't change anything from earlier so no idea why it suddenly was ok - thats Ustream for you! I've got my pattern for the suitcase so I really really hope Ustream plays good this weekend!! Thanks for all you do. xx

ReplyDeleteKeep on doing the outstanding job that you do, those faithful followers know that you are not to blame. Those that yell on the email and on the chats will probably fade away, hopefully sooner than later. Thanks for doing all that you do, you're the best. Enjoy Disney, it is so much fun, the kids will have a blast. FYI- get a meal plan, that's the cheapest and best way to eat in Disney. You get outstanding food at a decent rate, I would never do Disney without one. Take your camera and show us your pictures when you return.

ReplyDeleteI agree with posts , this is so totally NOT your fault. I have not had too many problems viewing UStream or the recorded shows, but when I do, I know it is not you. Usually if I comeback to a recorded show later, it works. Hang in there and focus on the positive posts. I hope you and your family have a wonderful time on vacation; you all so deserve it.

ReplyDeleteSometimes people don't know what they think they know and just want something to complain about. I'm sorry you have to receive those nasty emails for something you have no control over. You do the best you can and if that is not good enough for those complainers, then so be it, they will find something to complain about regardless of the cause.
