I have had an awesome week here on the blog and I want to celebrate! I think it is time for a giveaway!! (NO April Fool's here!)
Next week on Ustream, we will be making not one, but two projects with Graphic 45 paper...the Fairy House (Once Upon a Springtime) and the Circus Tent (le Cirque). In honor of making the 2011 Design Team for Graphic 45, I'm giving away one of each of the kits! (the rest of the kits and the patterns will be up on my website on Saturday...lots of Mom duty this week has it delayed!)
And there is more... in celebration of heading of to Ranger at the end of April, I am giving away a group of Ranger products so that you can be ready to play along with me when I return!
Here's what you need to do:
Leave a comment with your favorite Graphic 45 paper line AND the Ranger product you want to learn how to use (or the one you love the most!) I will do the drawing tomorrow (Saturday, April 2) at 3pm Pacific Time.
Tonight we will be using punches again to make 3D flowers for seed packet pockets. We will be modifying my Life's a Picnic Mini Album pattern in to a Easter basket. Below is a PDF of the seed packet pocket I designed for this class. I will eventually be making this in to a rubber stamp....but for now, you can click on the photo and then print to 8 1/2" x 11" card stock. Please use this pocket all you want for your personal use... please don't pass it around or use it in classes, etc. The finished pocket will measure 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"
See you all tonight!
Laura
Laura, Congratulations on being chosen for Graphic 45 design team!!! My favorite Graphic 45 paper line is the Renaissance Faire, I love the colors, patterns and possibilites it presents. The Ranger product I would like to learn how to use is the new Distress Stain, the colors look great and easy to use.
ReplyDeleteNini Nelms ninijaye@yahoo.com
WOW!! Laura congrats on your winning...I knew you would!!! I love all the Graphic 45 papers but I think if I would have to chose, it would be the fairy one. As far as Ranger goes, I love their alcohol inks but would love to learn more about the different ways they can be used. Thank you for the chance to win a prize! Pammy
ReplyDeleteI love the Once Upon A Springtime collection. So refreshing after all the "winter" colors. Congrats on making the design team....there really wasn't any other choice! I would love to know how to create with the glassine (sp) paper, and the stains look a little intimidating to me. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteCongrats again. I look forward to seeing what you will learn at Ranger U. Let's face it, you may be teaching them a thing or two by the time you leave. My favorite Graphic 45 line is Domestic Goddess(it sings to me haha) and I'd really like to learn more about those distress stains and how to combine them with stamping. Thanks for the chance to win a kit.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Laura! Frankly I have never used Graphic 45 (believe it or not) but now that you are part of their team I will have to try their papers. I like the Once Upon Springtime paper though. Lots of beautiful work out there with it. Yes I would like to use the "Distress Stains" too. I am sure you will show us the endless possibilities.
ReplyDeleteLaura, thanks for the awesome giveaway and your projects are stunning!
ReplyDeleteMy fave Graphic 45 papers are the Steampunk Debutante!! AWESOME!
And I would love to see more techniques for the new Stains. They look so cool but not sure how to use them.
Thanks for the fun giveaway!
So hard to choose but the Once Upon a Springtime are my current favorite papers and I so wish I could learn to do more with the UTEE from Ranger...so many artists seem to do so many fun things with it!
ReplyDeleteWe in Texas are THRILLED for you! So well deserved and not one bit a surprise...
Such exciting things happening along THE PAPER TRAIL! What a journey!
WOW Laura, very generous! I have been trying to get a kit you put together, but I'm always to late! I love G45 Once Upon A Springtime collections it is so beautiful. I would love to learn more about the alcohol inks and distress stains (I don't have any of either one). I love the look it creates. Thank you ~ Carol
ReplyDeleteCongrats on making the design team! I knew you would, they are so lucky to have you! How generous of you to do a giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Graphic 45 paper would have to be Curtain Call, I can't help but go crazy with it every time it gets in my hands. And a Ranger product I would love to learn how to use, is the the alcohol inks, (for some reason Joann's won't ship them to me in Hawaii so I've never tried them) but I have no idea what all different things you can do with these inks compared to any others.
The most awesome Graphic 45 product is the Once Upon a Springtime collection - have bought 4 packs of each "thing" as I love this more than anything I have ever seen and will use it up in no time. My granddaughter use to write notes to the fairies that lived in our garden and they answered her - I saved them and will do a special mini for her. I would love to learn more about the new Ranger stains and especially your stained glass idea. Thanks for all you do for us. Mary Werner
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Laura! I honestly had no doubt that you would be chosen. I'm excited to see what kind of projects you come up with. My favorite Graphic 45 paper line is "On the Boardwalk" and I would like to know more about how to make your own ink pads with the Ranger's Cut & Dry. See you on U-Stream tonight. (I don't participate in the chat. I guess I'm what you call a lurker?)
ReplyDeleteWhat talent you have! Congratulations on the new assignment. I love watching your Ustream programs. I like the Graphic 45 Once Upon a Springtime paper and would like to learn more about distress stains from Ranger. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteJan B.
Laura, You are so generous with your time and now this. Like I said in the prvious post, we are all winners when you win.
ReplyDeleteI love the new Once upon a springtime. I didn't think I did until I saw what you did with this amazing paperline. And I want to learn more about all the Ranger stuff but the new stains really look like interesting. Can't wait until you are back and ready to teach us. It excited me when you had earlier that you were going to be teaching us some techniques once a month and the once a month kit and so on because I love everything you do but have to pick and choose which ones I can afford. It's hard because I WANT THEM ALL.
Can't wait to see you in class you should be off the walls by then. LOL
Laura,
ReplyDeleteI just knew that you would be chosen! Congratulations! My favorite Graphic 45 paper line of all time is Once Upon a Springtime. However, I must admit to owning bits and pieces of all of their lines. The Ranger line I would love to learn more about: the alcohol inks. I don't even own any because I have no idea what to do with them.
You know what I have to say that I also love curtain call by Graphic 45 as well. I was just rewatching the album you did with that paper and its really pretty as well.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite G45 paper is Playtimes Past. It reminds me of happy times in my grandma's attic and all the antique toys she had there to play with. I would like to learn more about using Perfect Pearls. I've taken two classes using them now, and just can't seem to use them effectively. Congratulations, again, and thanks for the fabulous giveaways!
ReplyDeleteMy all time favorite is the Steampunk collection. I would like to learn more about the
ReplyDeletealcohol inks from Ranger.
Oh, Laura!!! How exciting! I'd be thrilled to win anything from you!! As for Ranger products, I'd like to learn to do more with the alcohol inks and/or anything of Tim Holtz products.
ReplyDeleteLacy
Laura, Congratulations! You are a wonderful, creative person and Graphic 45 will be blessed to have you! I personally Steampunk Debutante, but Once Upon A SSSpringtime is a very close 2nd! Blessings for a wonderful weekend as well.
ReplyDeleteAnother Woo Hoo on making the team of your choice! Fav G45 is the Botanicabella Collection... as far as the ranger/holtz, so many choices. I guess the glassine paper and alcohol inks. I have my glassine paper pad & just stare at it...lol. Better give Carol & Barrie a heads up on the Ranger products. Once you do a show...we'll all want them :) And how totally cool of you to give us the seed pattern packet. Thank you Laura for all your time and generosity. See you on Ustream...Lori C
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I forgot to say what ranger product I would like to learn how to use. Thank you so much for asking.

ReplyDeleteWow, what a generous giveaway :) Thanks again, Laura, I'm continually amazed at your generosity :) My favorite Graphic 45 line would have to be one of two, either Steampunk, or the Once Upon a Springtime...I can't make up my mind. And as for Ranger, I just got a packet of the Perfect pearls and have no idea how to make it look like it always looks when others use in online...so that would be great with me, but since I have so little already in the way of scrapbooking supplies, really anything you do with Ranger would be interesting and very educational for me, so I would be happy with anything :) Am still so excited to know that you made the list for Graphic 45 :D
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Congratulations to you Laura!! You are very much deserving of this honor and opportunity. :) My favorite paper hands down is Once Upon a Springtime. There are so many Ranger products I'd like to learn how to use so it's hard to choose, but I would say at this moment it would be the new Distress stains. They are still a mystery to me. See you tonight. ~QueensPaperPalace

ReplyDeleteI love the Christmas Past Paper, and I really like the Ranger Distress inks. :)
Even a tiny flower made by you would make me so proud ! Everytime I'm sad, I watch one of your shows.. Don't care how many times I've seen them before. And don't care that I have to get up at 3.50 every Saturday morning to watch your show, because you make me happy!
Lene aka PaperTrailAddict, Denmark.

Congratulations Laura!!! I've said this before and I mean it... you totally deserve it and it couldn't happen to a nicer person!! My current favorite G45 paper is Once Upon a Springtime and I would love to learn more about the stains Ranger just came out with. I don't even have them yet because I'm not quite sure what to do with them. Thanks again for sharing all you do with us here on your blog and through your classes. You are AWESOME!!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS.....boy choosing between Graphic 45 is very difficult for me....so many to love...although Upon a Springtime is gorgeous (love the colors and graphics) I am leaning toward Curtain Call...I have loved my trips to France (Paris in particular and visiting the Moulin Rouge) searching my roots, so love the flavor and feel of this paper...brings back wonderful memories....as for Ranger, I would love to learn more about the effects of alcohol inks on various types of mediums and how to achieve those results....I am excited and delighted to hear that you will be creating your own stamps for two reasons: first because I can't wait to see what your creative mind designs; and secondly I purchased (but have yet to use) the Collins stampmaker and if that is what you will be using, watching you use it and your opinion of it, would be most valued.....the fairy house and circus tent would be perfect for my twin grandbabies (a boy and a girl) so I have my fingers crossed....best of luck on your new venture and I hope this leads to many more opportunities for you....
ReplyDeleteCongrats on making the Design Team. We all knew you could do it! I really like the Once Upon a Springtime G45 paper. As for the Ranger stuff, I don't know enough to tell you what I like or would like to learn about.

ReplyDeleteThis is my first time leaving a comment but I have been watching Laura in awe for a month or so. I can't believe she lives so close yet I've never heard of her until now. I have been missing so much. This is rare talent I have not seen before. And it is so wonderful she is going to work with Ranger products. Tim Holtz is one of my favorites as well as Graphic 45 papers. My favorite Graphic 45 paper is Once Upon a Springtime. I cannot get enough of that paper and should probably buy stock in that company. lol The Ranger product besides the stain which several people have mentioned are the embossing folders. So thoughtful of you. Thank you for thinking of us down here. My favorite G45 is the Once Upon a Springtime. The Ranger product I like the most has to be Alcohol Inks & Stains. Thanks for the See pattern. Thanks again and much Blessings.
