...I got ready to set my Holiday table!
Here is a great way to use creative flowers made of paper, ribbon, fabric and lace. Make your own as I show you here or purchase ready made.
I have shown you the materials needed for this project in the photo's here. Watch the YouTube (click the top video on the right column) video for how to make them. Make one or make a bunch!!
I'm off to finish my Christmas shopping. I'll put a smile on my face and my patience hat on and hit the mall!! Today I will try to wear the same color of shoes. I was out yesterday for about 3+ hours. At the 4th store (my fav LSS) one of the gals that works there teased me with "creative shoes!" I looked down and this is what I saw! I guess I'm a bit tired. It was a good laugh though!
Enjoy your DAY!!
Laura
Oh that's soooo funny! I laughed so much only because many, MANY MOOS ago, my hubby and I went out to dinner, and when I started walking up to the salad bar I was limping....looked down and I had on one wedge 1" pump shoe and the other a tall stilletto one!!!! How the heck you ask???? God only knows....but I do remember walking over the grass to load up in the car so I just thought it was soft earth under my feet & though heel was digging in the dirt! I love your 2 color look! People probably thought you were being festive!!! Just put on your reindeer antler hat and shop amok!!!!

Oh I'm so glad I found your blog!!!! I love your tutorials on the 12 days of Christmas. (I believe there was a link on paper Phenomenon?)
ReplyDeleteI have to comment, your different color shoes, too cute, I have done this as well, I was late for work and put on two different pairs of tennis shoes. LOL!!! I was rear-ended on the way to work, nothing major, but couldn't figure out why my back was bothering me so much, DUH! (different height tennies!) I am a 36 year native of WA, and am now transplanted in GA (I met this southern boy, oh you know the rest of the story! :) ).
I look forward to visiting your blog and watching your tutorials, they are awesome!!! In fact I have my coffee, I'm in my recliner, and a nice snuggly blanket, off to watch some more! Thanks so much for the time and effort you put into this wonderful blog!
Cheers! And a very Happy Holiday season to You and your family!!!!

Hi Laura, I loved your video that project was amazing! I wanted to share with you how I handle parts of a die that I don't want to cut. I use a very thick piece of chipboard. I pay a scrap over the hole in the flower and it will cut everything except where the chipboard is.
